Question: Where are you from and where does your style/flavour come from?
(Where were you born n raised. Which dancers/performers or artists have influenced your dancing? Or perhaps something else like Kung Fu?)

Answer: I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark. I get inspired by anyone and everyone I see/ talk to, from pioneers in the game to my students and everyone in between. At least that's how it's been thus far. Other than that I try to just stay true to my body and do what feels right/ fun. In terms of practicing I draw most of my energy from my crew.

Question: What are your reflections on the funkstyles scene today compared to when you started.
(What´s better and what´s not? How has it evolved? What do you consider over- or underrated?)

Answer: I think it's quite obvious what has happened these past few years on the scene, and that's all good, but In my opinion Scandinavia has just as valid an approach to the dance and style in general as Cali for instance. I think people focus a bit much on the funk-attire.

Question: Tell us about one of your most memorable battles/events.

Answer: I would say my most memorable events, although all events I've attended have been part of my development, were my first few 1-on1 battles, 'cause I was about to shit my pants but learned so much in the process and especially later when reflecting on what I had seen etc.

Question: Is there someone out there that you feel should get more attention?
(Someone who deserves more credit than he or she gets, perhaps unknown to others. Or maybe someone who has been missjudged.)

Answer: To anyone out there who feel like you're not getting the recognition you deserve, your time will come. stay strong!
I'm not going to drop names, I think everybody who dedicates time and effort to dancing should get a chance to properly represent. I am pretty new to this, (dancing since '99), And I love seeing new faces like myself getting acclaimed.

Question:
Are you still active? If so, in what way?
(Battles, shows, teaching, producing, music, merchandise, events)

Answer: I'm just a dancer, and I teach a few classes now and then.
Look out for my clothing line! j/k

Question:
What do you think about crews?
(Is it important to be a part of one? What are the perks / disadvantages. Are you or have you been in one? What to think about as a crew member or solo act.)

Answer: Sadly I'm not a part of a straight popping crew although I think it's really healthy to be around other people on your wavelentgh /frequency to exchange ideas and insight. I am however part of a bboy crew and I LOVE those guys, politics and all. I definetily think a crew is a great concept because it's a platform on which everybody evolves, not just yourself or the next guy. And it's more fun.

Question:
Anything else you like to point out?

Answer: Love to the world! Love to Massdestruction.se!
